A poem for those without the one they love

Not Lonely

Iím not lonely for pityís sake
Only for the fact that my heart aches
There is no longing for family or friends
Only desires to be with you until the end

Interesting and sensational
Your love is simply exceptional
Every mannerism every inflection
I love you no misconceptions

As we weave our way through life
I realize you have always been my wife
No license or society required
I love you Iím truly inspired

Soft golden hair sparkles as we walk
I listen in peace - love to hear you talk
My mind ceases from tireless thought
Everything is something nothing can be bought

No need for further innovations
You supersede my wildest creations
Our passion will permeate all future resistance
Today I walk alone awaiting our existence

Trees branch out to the mountain streams
They seek nourishment with instinctive dreams
Seeds plunder, leaves resist turning color as they fall
Loneliness blossoms, in the midst of a harsh winters call

From you will I never waiver
Let the forest suffer on with nature
I love you baby we will thrive onward
To have and to hold from one day forward

G Reed
