Six West Virginians suspected of kidnapping and torturing a woman for at least a week will not face federal charges "at this time," prosecutors said Wednesday.

 

The suspects are a woman and her son, a woman and her daughter, and two other men.

 

Some of the suspects have extensive criminal histories, West Virginia court records show. "I have some familiarity with all those individuals," Abraham [Police Investigator] told the AP, which said a total of 108 criminal charges has been filed against the six since 1991.

 

According to county criminal complaints, Megan Williams, 20, was sexually assaulted, stabbed in the left leg, choked and beaten.

 

"I don't understand a human being doing another human being the way they did my daughter," Carmen Williams told the AP on Tuesday from her daughter's hospital room. "I didn't know there were people like that out here."

 

The complaints say she was forced to eat rat and dog feces, lick blood and drink from a toilet. The criminal complaints say the suspects threatened to kill Williams if she left the house where she was being held.     –Excerpts from CNN

 

A Prayer for Megan

 

Dear Father in Heaven,

 

It is my prayer that You would reveal Your love to Megan Williams and her family in a special, intimate and powerful manner. Send forth the Holy Spirit to administer to her pain, replacing it with your unfailing love, and the peace, which passes ALL understanding.  Let her know within her heart that she did nothing deserving such inhumane brutality.   

 

Lord, You mentioned when You were speaking to Your disciples about Satan, that he was a Thief with a mission objective to destroy Your creation.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. [John 10:10]

 

Furthermore, You mentioned that, “Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.” [3 John 1:11]

 

·        We live in nation whereby immorality is hailed as individualism and freedom of speech. 
 

·         Media, television, and video that portray all forms of sexual deviancy and violence as entertainment surround us.
 

·         Our nation has thrown You out our schools and our public society, while brainwashing children to believe that they evolved from apes, that they are nothing more than animals.

 

Is it any wonder how a situation like this could have occurred to Megan Williams? This violence is a product of our own doing. This tragedy is an example of the fruits of immorality that we are reaping within this nation – socialized as secularism and progressive thinking by our leaders.

 

Father in heaven; please forgive us for the sins of abandoning Your moral standard.  Please rise up from among us a generation that will get out of the four walls of the church, to make a difference for Your Kingdom, to serve a generation who are dying in the shadows of the steeple.

 

Finally Lord, You have stated that You “give strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak” [Isaiah 40:29].  I therefore ask that You will strengthen Megan and her family during this time of need.  I pray that out of ALL this wickedness, that You would be glorified and that your people in this nation would repent for that which we did or failed to do that allowed the wickedness within this nation from which this evil attack stemmed.
