Take off the blinders of ignorance.
See how the ants come and go?
There is divine a purpose to their chaotic dance.
This is so timely and a very powerful message thank you for sharing this ensightful poem. POWERFUL.

Powerful and timely. Raging chaos on the outward hull, reflects the terror on deck.......I like to remember that Jesus is in the boat, and utterly rely on Him!
Great write, Brother!

|...and you ask ME to look at an ant? yeah...this is the most outstanding part of it all!
If only more could, for in His nature, we are to search for the reasons, the purpose of our true gifts, and then in combining all gifts, with each other,"...Unite under the flag of common sense.",
a true Self-Reliance occurs, for without the one, the other is useless!
You have dug up their mounds in this one and shoved it in their faces!

|I love the way you make me think, Butch...and this takes me to times when I have been caught in the personal politics of the closed minded, blinder wearing who refuse to see even the moon through the beauty in another's eyes or mind, or those who can only criticize another's beliefs rather than learn from them. What a wonderful eye opener, Butch. I'll stand with you on this one!

|A powerful write my friend...full of wisdom...for we must search ourselves for what is best for ourselves, we cannot jump on every bandwagon that comes by, but be our own person with our own opinions, and purpose for life...and live it. Great write!

|When our collective purpose, as a race, became to lord it over one another, and to out do one another, and to stomp on one another in an effort to rise above our neighbors, we truly lost sight of something quite dear to the Creators heart I believe. Love and unity!
Your last stanza is a clarion call (to me) to seek God's gift in us and minister to it with all our heart, mind, and soul, and in so doing, bless others with it.
You are swinging a warriors sword with this write Butch. In fact you might say that you have given us your own sage wisdom. I enjoyed this!
Light and Wisdom ...
