In a mist of dreams
We can sometimes walk
A line between reality
and place we feel safe

Where clouds of illusions
can almost seem real
and we block out intrusions
from the rest of the world.

A safe place to harbor
our inner most feelings
Where we're in control
without interfering

reflections of the past,
mingle with dreams of tomorrow.
And become alive from our hopes
where time doesn't matter

A dangerous place,
on the edge of what's sane.
Do we walk away?
Or float deeper within.

In the mists of illusions
So soft the clouds are,
Gently fooling ones mind,
ones spirit, ones soul.

The clock on the wall,
Stands frozen in time,
The reality is,
Time is..still ticking by.

Live each moment
Life is so very short
If you do let time stand still,
Don't let it keep you there.

In an illusion of what
A Safe Place.

Life, does not stop when are dreams become shattered,
Our hearts broken, or we loose a position.
We may find ourselves feeling hopeless at different times in our lives
And we can retreat into different places of "hiding"..Places to take a break,
Regroup, rejuvenate, cry, and heal.
We can, come back stronger..
When we choose to come back.

This is a place I had gone to, quiet some time back.
At the time, I thought I could not/ would not,
I did not "want" to, live through it.
I wanted to stay in that place in the clouds.
Part of me, is a survivor and though when I did come back out of the clouds.
it felt like walking through all the fires of hell,
I found a strength in myself and so much more than that,
than I ever dreamed I could possibly posses.

Music~ "Imagine"
John Lennon
