As She steps softly
Out into the light,
She Whispers his name
just under her breath

"I love you", she whispers
heart locked in fear.
eternity the waiting...
Did he hear, her?

Beneath star's light,
Soft glow of the moon
Shall there be a response?
To the soft spoken words...

Does he to love me?,
or love me not?

Her gaze then settles
at rest in his eyes.
So gentle the heart,
beating, wildly inside.

An aurora of golden,
Bright light,as the sun.
Shines when she smiles,
And sparkles her eyes.

Dances her laughter
as light as the wind..

Her thoughts wander...
Just what might he say?
Had he heard her at all?,
will he go now,or stay?..

She knows not his answer
and has not really the need
for the love, she has given
was given in free.

Free to lay sleeping
No web has been spun,
or free for abandon
what ever outcome;

She feels the warm glow
from deepest of depths
of heart and her soul,
Without a regret.

Warm light of the sun
The shine of the stars
Diamonds of heaven
Glow of the moon

Sparkles her eyes,
Shinning in truth,
Innocence , trusting
As if still in youth

What ever she gives
she gives without thought
of what ere' the return
she may receive back,

She loves not to own
Or hold tight in her grasp
Love is in giving,
And she gave with her heart....

She looks on in wonder
And then turns to leave
Leaving him there
calling her name..

She turns but once
And blows him a kiss
He finds himself, standing
..Alone in the mist..

~*~

As he steps softly
Out into the light,
He had waited to long
To whisper response....

His heart had been torn
Frozen the blend
Desire and fear
He uttered no sound,

He is left standing,
He whispers the words
I loved you too.
But.. now, she has gone..

Your heart and mine seem to be filled with whispers that never cease, but are never the same. Whispers pull us in different directions. You guided by the whispers of Angels and me by Devils; yet in some way they can reconcile and be one at times. It is so strange, isn't it? Bill Hugs
