As my BFF Laura and I get ready for school, our boyfriends call and tell us they are on their way to pick us up. We finished getting dressed and the door bell rings. We run down the stairway and open the door with excitement. The four of us are on our way to school when Redmond suggest that we go to the beach instead. By peer group pressure, I was forced to agree.Sometimes when you want to do the right thing it's hard but is not impossible. We drove along the coast and smelled the ocean breeze while watching the beautiful waves of the water.Laura expressed how much fun it would be to walk in the pure white sand that is sparkling from the rays of the sun above. As we all walked in the sand we heard a person yelling for help far out in the water's tide. I myself motivated on the pure action of spontaneous adrenaline took off to swim in the ocean to rescue this person I did not know, because I felt this was the right thing to do. As I swam I heard my friends yelling you're almost there, you're almost there. I raised my head from the water and reached my arm out to a Mother and her baby. She smiled with relief as we struggled together back to shore. She confessed to me how the water held her captive and pulled her out in a rib-tide of water that was as strong as an elephant. I replied to her that at times we are all caught up in rib-tides of certain situations. May it be ocean waters or a ditch day from school.Sometimes we are all just Kidnapped in situations and JUST DON'T KNOW IT.

I love this story, Shirley. Thank you for sharing it. What you did I could not do because I don't know how to swim. I know... ...my bad! Love and peace,

| Is this true? What a great story... but... since I am the one who has written Extraordinary Visits - Miracles through Divine Intervention....I prefer to call this event a visit...a divine visit...not a kidnapping... wonderful story with a beautiful ending... lindalaw |
