Another poem by Mary Nagy and Rusty Daily

Mommy letís me watch tv
whenever Iíve been good,
but I probably watch tv
a little more than I should.

My mommy likes the radio,
she listens to it all day.
The problem with the radio is,
you canít see what they say.

I sit there and I listen,
to all them sing a song.
I wish that I could see them.
I wonder what is wrong.

They sing as loud as big folks,
but they must be pretty small,
Ďcause mommyís little radio,
isnít very tall.

Iím going to get a window,
for mommyís radio,
so those little radio people
can put me on a show.

How imaginative~! This is so very cute, and so like a little girl, I can hear my grand-daughter say that.

That is so cute, Rusty! You got inside the head of the little person telling about his/her mommy, and compiled a precious piece. Excellent!

God Bless

This poem is so precious. I currently have ties into radio through a very sweet working relationship. I also have a few radio DJ friends; I'll have to share this poem with them. They'll enjoy it, I know.

Those little radio people still entertain... Abbey only likes when the little girls sing, Joey only likes when the little boys sing, and God forbid if the station plays too many little boy songs!

Abbey can be a pistol!
Great write Rusty!

Love and Peace~

I know just how the little nipper felt. I was 22 years old before I knew that there were no little people in the little box. Oo I did cry.

this reminded me of how I thought that bands went to the radio stations and performed live each time a song played...gosh, I must have been 10 years old, maybe! thanks!
