Hey! Little girl, you charm me so
Love your smile, your eyes so blue
Someday I'm going to come back for you
Got to come back 'cause I am you!
Years went by, her beauty grew
Always remembered this boy she knew
How his compliments made her smile
Made her feel so specially fine.
Seventeen years old, like a shrine
Blue eyes sparkling like ice on fire
Plenty of apples for her to try
Now forgotten, her boy-man's smile.
Tall and dark, big and strong
Macho-wise, he seemed so wrong
She wished she didnt have to stay
Better packages on the way.
Talked of things so pure and wise
The macho died before her eyes
Felt the passion to be complete
Felt the urge of ancient beat.
Joined together the heart and soul
No decisions - love is home
True and natural for Al to hold
Complete and natural for Lori to fold
As a flower wraps around itself
Man and woman - two halves to whole
Melding to perfect what can't be told
To complete the beauty of love that's soul.
Rummaging through the old and new
Found a photo of Al to view
Looked real close, realization grew
Al was that boy she knew.
Merlin knew the ancient truth
Knew that magic was nothing new
Synchronicity insists that dreams come true
When love becomes the master view.
Many lifetimes for fear to slay
Fighting dragons with swords of clay
Now Al and Lori are home to stay
Only little dragons to tease and flay.

A poetic story with deeper meaning than appears on the surface; at least that is the way I interpret it. Thank you, Tom. Love and peace,
