Have You Ever Been In Love?

Have  You  Ever  Been  In  Love?
And  Not  Have  That  Love  Given  Back?

                                                You  Wanted  Total  Happiness

                                                But,  Only  Got  Lonely  Restlessness

You  Love  With  All  Your  Heart

Only  To  Have  It  Torn  Apart

                                                A  One-Sided  Image  Of  Just  You…

                                                Giving  Your  All

I  Wish  Love  Wasn't  So  Painful

                                                Where  Being  In  Love…

                                                 Is  Alone  Inside  You

                                                 A  One-Sided  Joy

                                                 A  One-Way  Love

I like the title especially the use of the words "One Way" because everyone talks about the one when being in love. However, there are so many heartbreaks along the way to finding the one that it gets frustrating like a one way street. You travel it and can't go another way so you just have to keep on keeping on until love comes out of nowhere and swerves right in front of you. I think this piece is right on point. I can say I've been there but I won't Yield because there's only One Way to Love and that's All the Way! I really enjoyed this piece brother. Oh yeah are you any kin to Sammy Davis Jr. because you kind of got that cool about you in your photo. Anyways Take Care & Keep writing the Real Bro Davis!

Always very difficult when one offers love and it is not offered back, a very pointed yet delicate piece....

Be alway safe,

A one sided love can destroy the heart and aching for a "love" that is real. A nice write.

I wish you would stop reminding me of this.
Okay, I'm kidding - you SHOULD remind all of us of this aspect of all-too-real one-sided love; and you've definitely touched on something to which I can readily relate. -- Jeff
