From the Collection of "Portrait of My Lover" Paintings by Malcolm Deeley
On The Dark Side of Heaven
shadows dance, silhouettes upon the night, a dreamer drifts to quiet sleep as the moon seeks to covet the seas, waves of desire crash against pale white skin, a dance of lovers begins,
shadows cast calls of pleasure upon a cool wind as the sun sleeps on the other side of life, a dreamer drifts to restless sleep, the essence of the dance fills his imagination, temptation's hand embraces the fall of an angel who dared to tread on the dark side of heaven,
warm winds escape from the windows edge as a cool one flows back in, shadows dance, silhouettes upon the wall, passion rises then slowly it
falls, falls, falls,
drifting like a leaf upon a soft breeze, reaching its moment of serenity as it lands - over there - on the water's edge, washed out now to sea as the moon courts the lovers, waves of release escape the captivation of the divine, temptation's hand embraces the fall, passions end, bodies spent, embracing the moments spent here on the dark side of heaven,
passion rises then slowly it
falls, falls, falls,
to the shadows of two now one, the night drifts away on a cool wind as the sun rises over the edge of dawn and lovers drift to quiet dreams, places of serenity where silhouettes danced on the dark side of heaven.
