Song of the Raven...

Each day I wake, I wonder...is this my home? Is this our home...? Why are we/they are killing it? I willteach the Medicine, the medicine of the New World!
The sacred Dove, has taken flight
to find the New world...
As her wings touch the earth, one last time...
And, the spirit of the White Wolf
has taken his journey...
Seeking guidance from GrandMother Moon...
The Deer, no longer rest anymore
Fear for their forest and their paths
Will change soon...
Are speaking of wisdom...
And I see them digging their roots
Deeper within the Earth Mother...!
They tell of a storm that has come many times...
A storm, that we as Humans, have created of our own...
They talk of Sadness of why
we can not find that Peace within...?
I have no answers for them...
They also speak of how the Mother Earth is sick...!
She does not like these storms...
Her Skin will tear and the earth will open...
The Tree's also say that,
Just like many storms come...!
This too, shall pass...
When a Feather, comes from the Sky
To touch the Mother Earth again...
Hope, of a New World

The creature in you is like the Alpha male of all creatures. Your heart fills and your emotion spills over into your poetry. I know for when Mother Nature talks to me along these rusty mountain roads in the Ozarks...she is crying a lot lately.
keep writing your beliefs because a lot of us are listening and please contact me at Susankrowse.aol.com. I belong to a nature poetry site that is a perfect place for you to be heard.
Love and peace,
