How can I capture this moment
That has so altered me, completely?
Will the stars ever change, shining,
Or do I augment them discreetly?

Has a smile ever seemed like this
And done what this smile seems to?
Adding color and life, gleaming,
And refreshing each moment anew.

Will she ever in truth come to know
What I felt lying in her lap, sinking?
Starving for more of her, yearning,
As I simply sit staring, blinking.

Won’t pain steal away in this
The memory of her eyes looking down,
With such love in them gleaming
Leaving me to myself again, alone.

oh this is sweet, and have such a wonderful emotion to it
wondering,

Get up on your haunches and go after her fella or you'll only have unfulfilled memories of the one that got away.
