music Hall & Oates Sara Smile

I wrote this for my grandaughter
when in the younger  (then) photo

~**~

A wondrous winsome lassie
is she~ that lights my world
up with her glee

She flits over hills like  a
dove in flight ~her giggles
resound in pure delight

As she races the wind, her
hair fans out like wings~she
stirs my heart to sing

An angelic vision so sweet
her smile~makes you forget
how it can beguile

When she wears her mischief
eyes~to be wary would be
wise

I thank the Lord for His grace
Whenever I see Sarah's face

What is ahead for this beautiful
sprite~ keeps me awake
many a night

She is a beautiful princess and the apple of her grandmother's eye.
This is a wonderful slice of heirloom history to pass on.

Well Done, Grandmother! A beautiful poem, and beautiful pictures. And I love all grandmas everywhere - they always fret and worry about their grandkids, but they love them to death, teach them many valuable things, and they usually give them whatever they want!
