Oh wow! This is a wonderful write...a bit mystical. Love is great, and the wait for that special someone to return is sometimes more than enough to conjure up the ghosts of old memories.
Great write...enjoyed it much.

New place, new "creaks", huh Eileen? :o) As a widow, I've learned to live with the darkness of night; it has become my time of peaceful solitude...or for reading a good book. Cheers, my friend...this too will pass.

A great poem to make us think -- very nice job, Eileen. Why is it that love causes us to feel such extremes? Radiant joy or deepest dispair ...
