Photo, beginning of a monsoon!

If I'm not already insane, this editor will do it to me! this is not how I display my poem.

The heavens have closed their window of light
Opened the portals for storms to take flight
A night of wind and rain is in full swing
Causing a cacophony of sounds to sing

While it rages all around me in maniacal flow A song that fits the storm plays on my radio
This dichotomy of sounds have me enthralled  i'm becoming strangely aroused by it all

If only I had you here, in bed with me
We would engage in this voltaic velocity
Entwined in an efficacious eclipse
As lavish lightning licks our lips

In the intensity of this storms flow
Everything is reaching towards crescendo
I.m heading towards the landscape of dreams
Will I awake to see mornings  sunbeams ?

Thunderstorms always sounds to me like the gods in the skies are trampling on top of mount Olympus for some real or imaginary grievance provoked by my words, but being mortal they can't do nothing about, so they cry in frustration, some times for forty days and forty nights forgetting that I have a boat and can swim.

Eileen... amazing what we can feel and see between the lines sometimes in the writings of others and ourselves... When I write I don't always write about "my" feelings, then someone comments and I realize that I did! This is really good. The photo is amazing...and I know Karla will love it too.. Monsoon huh? We get them here in AZ yesterday... where are you? lindalaw

Me thinks you should write one of those enthralling symphonies, with thunder and lightening and armore etc, and bring everything together in a crescendo in music, like you do in poetry, going by that picture though I would most likely hide under the covers ha!
