You appear as a morning maelstrom
seeking to devour me, and I let you
take me to the heights of Everest
and the depths of the abyss

Can anything compare to our kiss

You surround me like mountains
and I'm your valley which you make
sure is filled with every good thing
and I sing, and the joy is too much

Can anything compare to our touch

You breathe over me like a soft breeze
and it teases me to the point of
volcanic eruptions, and I flow like lava
in a state of tembloric tingling

Can anything compare to our mingling

This is ETW at her very best... such ease of rhythm and rhyme and matchless harmonies of word to sentiment. Elegant and classy poetry which oozes a relaxed sensuality and delicious pleasure, whetting the appetite for the "When Harry Met Sally: "I'll have what she's having"-thing! :)) xx

Ah, beautifully rendered, my friend. The wordplay is just bordering on . . . er . . . sinful. The imagery has the look and feel of complete togetherness.

You always have that special touch in which you weave your words together Eileen. Here's another brilliant tapestry.
