We watched our 1 1/2 year old grandson try to follow his shadow on the wall, not understanding what it was, he was amazed at it. It gave us much joy to see the curiocity in him.

  A Shadow On The Wall

It is just a little shadow,
We tried to tell him so,
And this little tiny image,
Will follow you where you go,
He couldn't seem to understand,
The words we said so clear,
And soon he saw the shadow,
Just seemed to dissappear.
Oh how his heart was broken,
For he felt he'd lost a toy,
He thought this little shadow,
Had gone up to the sky.
It's just a shadow on the wall,
It filled his heart with joy,
And brought a smile upon our face,
To watch this little boy.
