A Vision Of Truth
You look in the hall mirror,
And what do you really see,
It's truth and it's a true vision,
Of what we know as honesty.
We can feel sadness and joy,
If we choose to do so,
But in that mirror, looking back,
Is a vision of me, that I do know.
I am one person that I can truly trust,
I'll never hurt or lie to me,
To me I am a vision of truth,
A vision for all to see.
I won't hurt myself, or turn away,
I'll always be there through it all,
I know I can count on myself,
The vision in the mirror down the hall.
I'll turn to me when things go wrong,
When things seem really rough,
I'll know that I can lean on me,
Cause that vision on the wall is tough.
So I'll keep that mirror hanging there,
I'll depend on it for me,
I'll know when I look in that mirror,
It's a vision of only me.
