A Fabulous story!... and one that you must've told your kids many times and see, now they've helped bring it true. I once made a "model" small hot-air balloon and launched it with my dad, but it caught on fire (we were on the ground of course!) Someday I may try your dream too.
PS: and thank you so much for passing along that "music" information and your constant reviews
Happy Aniversary to your & yours, michael guy |

My dreams are not fantasies
Dreams have a goal
Fantasies are easily shattered
We have no control
So glad one more dream has come true.
Regardless of what we have on our bucket list, it is wonderful to cross each one off.
Big smiles--RaeLynn |

Hi Rose,I love this poem and I want to wish you and your husband a Happy Anniversary.Your children are the best.To be honest with you,I recently went on a balloon ride last week.It was the most amazing thing that I've ever done.It wasn't a hot air balloon ride, but the balloon was made out of helium so that the ride can be quiet.I went 300 feet in the air and I got to tell you that before I went in the balloon,I was a little bit nervous but once I was floating in the air,I felt good.I saw the whole scenery of Central Park including the grass and I saw the city skyline. It was absolutely amazing and I am glad that you went up on a hot air balloon ride to see the whole world right in front of your eyes as well as your husband. It is indeed special to share this moment with your husband.A kodak moment so to speak :-).Thank you for sharing this experience.I always admire and appreciate your feelings that you express in your poetry that makes your poems very enjoyable to read.God bless you and your husband.take good care of yourself

Wow, what a gift from your children!! Congratulations! I don't think I could go hot air ballooning; for one thing, I'm absolutely terrified of fire/flame close to me. When I was a little girl, a neighbor kid tried to set my hair on fire before my twin and my brother beat the crap outta' the kid. Ever since, I fear fire/flame. No, I'll leave that to brave people like you!! LOL Very well penned excitement of your trip in the clouds! BRAVA, Rose; enjoyed!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D |

Oh, Rose, how cool is that? That's something I did, once: got about 20 feet in the air, said, "Put it back." Pilot: "What?" Me: "Put. It. Back." LOL Didn't feel so secure in a wicker basket all of a sudden ... and all I could envision was those pics you see on the news of balloons ... nevermind. Glad that wasn't Y O U. LOL Congrats, can't wait to see the piccys! Well done. You're way braver than the 'Spinner.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. |
