Thanks to Linda, this is a little why I write, I like to share my love and thoughts.
Why I Write
September 25, 2011
By Rose Marie Rideout
I write just so I can share,
With all my friends and family,
To show how much I care.
I write of love and anger,
Of happiness and fear,
Most of all I write, because I care.
I write of the homeless,
Of those who have so much more,
I write for all I know and come to adore.
I write for the hurting,
For those who suffer every day,
I write for all those folks along my way.
I write for our Blessed Military,
For those who fight with pride,
I write for God above, to be their guide.
I like to share my words,
For all who like to read,
I like to share a smile for all those in need.
I write for the hungry,
The rich and many more,
I write for everyone, it’s all I do adore.

|Rose, Nice poem. Like I told Linda a few days ago, I think your reasons are much nobler than mine. It's great that you allow the rest of us to peek inside your world every now and then. Good stuff, keep up the good work. Dick|

Thank you for accepting my challenge and in such a beautiful way. Your reasons for writing show a deep compassionate heart. You are truly gifted, my friend. Keep writing and sharing your inspiring words.

|Isn't it lucky, my far northern friend, that you and I can write. That you and I can put our feelings, both happy and sad, into words for others to see.
Warm hearted poem, Rosie.
