Palpable fear in the third stanza. Your harsher-sounding consonants rap against the palate of our minds. It works very well.
I like the alliteration of the last stanza--a full resolution back to reality and calm mind. --Charlie |

Axilea,
Transition between worlds of dream, sleep and consciousness well captured and expressed, word choice so effective and right, and the handrail and staircase images particularly rich in the context and theme.

Loved the description of those frozen moments which make up our dreams...transitioning to that moment of waking.

| Your transitions through impeccable word choices between each stanza are brilliant; the way you've constructed this piece gives it wonderful flow not only in sound, but in the unfolding meaning. The third stanza is like a wake-up call that fits beautifully, yet effectively jolts the reader from the preceding stupor toward an awakening. |

| Awakening to life again, what we all do in the morning. A dream is the most frightening thing sometimes. I do dream lots of weired dreams. This poetry fascinates me, no truer words can be said like you say them here. Putting them into perspective is just the way you did it. Thanks for the neat writing. |
