They long to be together, in each otherís arms,
going too hide-awayís; sometimes motels, cabins,
the lake, beach or seaside, but never, never, in
each otherís homes. The feeling is strong; as they
touch, hold, feel, seek, explore, and passionately
kiss. How can they explain the joy, pleasure, and excitement to others, when they canít
explain these feelings to themselves.
Are stolen moments in each otherís arms, worth
risking everything, if found out? Stolen moments
reflected in each otherís arms, holding, kissing,
and making love, until it is, time to leave and go home.

Is pleasure and excitement of forbidden love considered, naughty and sinful, because it is shared between lovers who are in relationships and committed to someone else?

|An interesting poem.. I think Sherry summed it up nicely. So I'll put my soap box away.. I do have to add one thing though. <smile> If one is haveing a forbidden tryst with another.. and decides to risk it all for the sake of that love.. Can one ever truly trust that the other won't tire of them and go searching once more for that forbidden love? Or as you asked in the poem, is it worth the risk of being discovered. For in truth the forbidden love not only affects the lovers lives, but with that domino affect it will touch many lives should it be discovered. Promises/ commitments should never be taken lightly.. Nor should they be abandoned so easily.
Just my 2 cents worth <smile> Keep the change.

A hard question to answer having been on the wrong side,I can truthly say it really hurts and leaves scars that take long time to heal.
Sadly this will be my last review I have asked AD to close my account and remove my poems.
I have really enjoyed your writes.
