I don't expect a prelude of oysters
and champagne. Just whet my appetite
with a palate of your sweet essence.
I don't expect you to roll out the red carpet
but crisp linen sheets will do fine.
Let's be spontaneous allowing the night
ahead to predict how love will grace us
We find strength within the power of love
yet there is also the tranquil moment,
sentimental of tender passion.
I don't expect expensive gifts. Just present me
with the favor of your company and of sweet remembrances.
