When Bud Selig talked contraction.
The Twins fans got their hankies out.
When Carl Pohlad talk to disband the team,
The Twin fans rallied and waived their hankies.
Now, we are headed to the ALCS,
Some people thought the Yankees were the very best,
Now, they are playing golf,
Gosh, don’t you just love this sport.
The Yankee’s pitching served up a
Heavenly dish for the Angels to hit.
However, in game one,
Those Contraction Kids weren't quiet done.
The Angels bats were handcuffed,
Their winning ways were stopped.
Joe Mays pitched in game one,
The Hankies were waived,
And the Twins won!
