After reading ‘The Sick Rose’ By William Blake

Rose du Désert

Je suis timide et fleur
Pourtant, rose angelique, insolites
À se révéler comme un soupir dociles. . .
J'ai un royaume immobile du désir. . . .
Oubliez!
Mais une vie inutile
Dans le désert, encore vide
Soleil torride. . . .
Il s'agit d'une pâle Rev
Monotone
Glaugue
L'une chante faible. . . .

Beryl McMullen

I am shy and flower
Yet, rose angelique, unusual
To be docile as a sigh. . .
I am still a kingdom of desire. . . .
Forget!
But a pointless life
In the desert, yet empty
Scorching sun. . . .
It is a pale
Monotone
One sings low. . .
