Wrote this for a friend a few years ago. Her Mom died and she wanted to have a piece to put in the programs for the funeral. |

Weep Not For Me, My Children
Weep not for me, my children for I've found eternal rest; With Christ our Lord and king, who loved your 'Sweetie' best. I know that I'll miss your humor, love and smiles; you're all so precious to me & made my life full and worthwhile.
Oh how I've treasured this life
God gave to me~! a journey both rich & blessed; With family and friends that I cherished, for you were my greatest success! Weep not for me, my children
as I'm home now with my Lord; No pain or
suffering anymore and my joy has been restored.
I'll see you all one day again on heaven's majestic shores; a celebration that will be, with you whom I adore.
Until that moment arrives, I encourage you all to standfast; Keep the love of God in your hearts--endure to the last. Hold fast to the faith I've taught you by my life's daily example; Hold fast to the God I embraced for His strength
is more than ample. Weep not for me, my children as this is not goodbye; Remember I'll live in your hearts
forever. 'Sweetie' will NEVER DIE

This is indeed sweet. I'm sure it was appreciated for the daughter. The truths behind every line are precious and so comforting.
