Can you hear me

Twisting and turning in my brain.

Future uncertain, the past the same.

Don’t know where I am going?

Don’t know where I have been.

So much to consider.

So much to end.

Still a new chapter to begin.

Each day I awake.

My life begins again.

New, old, it’s all the same.

Deep inside my soul I still search.

I know that she is out there.

That flame from childhood past,

Twin flames.

Did I pass her by?

Did she pass me the same?

Spirits meet then they part.

Life begins, Life ends.

Life goes on and on.

Is she a ghost of those passed?

Is she present and waiting, looking for me.

I am ready to find her.

My heart is open for her to come in.

Is hers the same?

In my youth, oh that fragile time.

 I know she was so near.
