One Prays InSight
Scrape worn knees across a quill shrill impression,
Where a soul feels the core gravity of depression
Sink - torn asunder the weight of staining ink’s reign,
Inside turmoil that boils tear’s acid naked, in harsh rain.
Weep poet in the waning moments of self reflection,
Rail no more, as the silken web is woven into rejection.
Tight noose censor ship, chokes life onto sailing silence
Onto see shore isolation, still chill in doubt’s pestilence.
Shiver cold awash tides moving grains inside hour glasses,
To teleport gazes onto fogging hazes of forlorn empty faces.
Distortions weather wrinkles bleached taunt in skeletal frames
Shriveling tight, remorse bearing heartbeat’s faltering flame.
Solitary confinement dungeon wears scars living suicide fights,
Where negativity dissipates inside positive insight of cerebral light.
Faith gaining prayer’s inspirational wings, when a soul take flight
Sail, sail, sail enlightened angel, where one regains their (In)Sight.
