very depressing

only wanting to be used
shit on me
if you must
so i won't be alone

from a distance
i see them
looking down at me
mocking smiles
sorrounded by affection
tossing me pitty
driving me to edge

thoughts consuming
bearing down
engulfing my hope
slowing time

without grace
see my own hand
holding me down
love this pain
it was always there for me

Well yer just gotta stop doing it and realise ones own self-worth and love..
Better to be alone than with the wrong folks!!!

I've found self-confidence and knowledge through poor relationships because I give it to someone greater for self assurance. Their loss, can be your gain, because you can learn from mistakes. A well stated and heartfelt poem. Thanks for sharing!

At times we can be our own worst enemy. Self-confidence is always reassuring.
