81 YEAR OLD MAN IS A THREAT
Be careful poets, what you write or Secret Service just might pay you a visit in the middle of the night.
They don't even need a warrant to search your person or things! Any precieved threat to Mr. Bush will an investigation bring.
They can tap your phone and even read your mail. If they don't like what they find they can throw you in jail.
And maybe, like those prisoners suspected of terroist schemes, keep you locked up for months with 'Forceful' interrogation and no trial date it seems.
So be careful poets what you do or all the president's men will come looking for you.
Ooops someone is at my door. Wonder what those men in black are here for? If I'm not back to write tomorrow somebody please call my lawyer.

WAKE UP AMERICAN PEOPLE YOUR RIGHTS ARE DISAPPEARING. READ THIS ARTICLE.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - An elderly man who wrote in a letter to the editor about Saddam Hussein's execution that 'they hanged the wrong man' got a visit from Secret Service agents concerned he was threatening President Bush.
The letter by Dan Tilli, 81, was published in Monday's edition of The Express-Times of Easton, Pa. It ended with the line, 'I still believe they hanged the wrong man.'
Tilli said the statement was not a threat. 'I didn't say who — I could've meant (Osama) bin Laden,' he said Friday.
Two Secret Service agents questioned Tilli at his Bethlehem apartment Thursday, briefly searching the place and taking pictures of him, he said.
The Secret Service confirmed the encounter. Bob Slama, special agent in charge of the Secret Service's Philadelphia office, said it was the agency's duty to investigate.
The agents almost immediately decided Tilli was not a threat, Slama said
'We have no further interest in Dan,' he said.
Tilli said the agents appeared more relaxed when he dug out a scrapbook containing more than 200 letters that he has written over the years, almost all on political topics.
'He said, 'Keep writing, but just don't make no threats,' Tilli said of one of the agents.
It wasn't Tilli's first run-in with the federal government over his letter writing. Two FBI agents from Allentown showed up at his home last year about a letter he wrote advocating a civil war to unseat Bush, he said.

Dear Belle,
The way that things are shaping up today, these poor, old farts can't even fart if it's seen as a threat to the almighty president.
God help us all!
Love & Light always and in all ways,

I believe this entire world needs to step back a few steps, and regroup..somehow, things just seem to be wayyy out of whack.
Do I think we need to protect ourselves? I darn sure do, but not from 81 year old men or women, that are flashing nothing more than an ink pen anyway. I think they should be spending our tax dollars a bit more wisely. Besides, I'll just bet that instead of wasting those bucks on senseless things, I'll just bet our soldier's families would be more than grateful to be able to use it to help pay a utility bill with. Ofcourse, that's just my opinion, now if I'm going to get a visit for these comments..well,,I guess I better get up and get the coffee on cuz it's gonna be a long long night! lol

| Big Brother is definitely watching - everything - and everyone - these days. Even we animal rights folks can now be considered 'terrorists' if businesses cruelly buying and selling and mistreating animals complain that we have cost them sales. Truly frightening stuff. |

Good poem LaBelle......
I do understand the paranoia, I mean we got hammered on the WTC, and Washington DC, we do need to take precaution.........but with
wisdom .......sigh
I love this country!!! We have been wounded, and like an over protective parent, we now see things differentlly There is an ironic humor in this situation with the 81 yr old, that has people rolling their eyes, and shaking their heads, but.....I do understand it...Part of what makes life......Life. And the instinct to go on prevails...
But you gotta smile LOL
