Magic in the Air

In the distance hear the bells ring

Is it the old church over there?

Listen it’s getting closer

At this special time of year

I see a steady glowing

Getting nearer by the minute

Look a tiny runner sleigh

Pulled by reindeer and Santa’s in it !

He see’s me his eyes twinkle

Ho Ho ! His big belly laugh so rare

He know’s at heart I’m a child

So his secrets he will share

He carries a sack of presents

And brings smiles to little faces

Teddy bears and candy canes

Baby dolls and tools in rugged cases

But the best part of the season

Is the magic settling in empty places

Into empty hearts, into empty homes

Bringing smiles to lonely faces

I'm with you, Sharron! Does this mean we'll get lots of presents? And don't ever lose that child in your heart - it's a precious thing to have.
