Fire this poison arrow into thy heart
I feel no fear even though it's sharp
For I was young and yet it seems
My time is near
I feel no lust nor experience fear

Beside The Mission Bells
This is not the place that we call hell

Tranquillity blends where thy foul bone mends
For now I wait with open hands
For in this time my final hour
Beneath the shadow of this tower

My lover's hand shall not be seen
Oh how I wish this were a dream
In this silence I will not scream
For now I long to see her face
Before my soul departs this place

For here I rest forever more
Upon this, my resting place by the shore
Beside the sounds of the mission bells
With this last breath, goodbye cruel world

Like modern Shakespeare this poem rings with intensity, passion, and sadness. Well done.
