Terrible Twos by Sara K. Penrod Thursday, September 26, 2002 Share Print Save Become a Fan Terrible Twos (and threes and fours and fives...) Everybody's had this stupid job once in their life: babysitting kids whose diapers are always dirty, whose ear infections only hurt once Mommy drives away. They hurl Tonka trucks like disci at their sisters and laugh out loud when you sit on the pinecone they left on your chair. It takes you half an hour to get the baby to sleep so she wakes up, screaming, in fifteen minutes. The kids use your cashmere sweater for target practice with spaghetti and meatballs. They jump on your Discman and speak in their secret language all night long. They run around naked when you tell them to put on their pajamas. When the parents get home, they only pay you ten dollars.

Wow! As cute as kids can be...I don't think I would want to visit that part of them. I suppose it would take too much out of me if that were day in and day out to be a babysitter. Amor

Oh wow how many memories those twos bring...yes all the stages lol
