If I knew then

What I know now-

We hear it all the time.

If I knew then

What I know now-

It would have been a crime.

I would have skipped

The big mistakes;

I would have been a bore.

The very things I'm made of now

Would not make up my very core.

I might have been more cynical,

More cautious, more content-

Instead of being brilliant,

And sweet and slightly bent!

Would you believe, this is the first I've seen this? My Tracker feature must be broken. I don't recognize the other titles --about 5 of them -- at the top of this list either. So sorry! Here I am, wondering when you'll post another one and not knowing.....
Well, anyhow, I like it, especially the last 2 lines. Yer a clip!

I really really like this one! I definitely believe in no regrets. What has happened to everyone has made them what and who they are. We can only move forward and use what our know how has taught us for the future. I appreciate everything given, taken from, and granted for me. And this poem says that about you. We are comfortable and humble, gracious and grand because life should be just that. I feel I can connect to you, Carol. Thanx.
