I dreamt of you in black and white.
Gazing in a pool of my own tears,
tasting your soul in their salt,
seeing only a reflection of me.
In an instant you were behind me,
whispering all your fantasies in my ear.
Playing me while I danced.
Playing me without mercy.
perched upon your face,
hanging loose between your delicious lips.
Tracing my eyes,
you then smear my lipstick.
I feel the electricity from your fingertips.
I want to turn and reach for you,
but I am chained to a clown with your laugh.
You keep yourself hidden from me,
eluding my eyes,
Groping frantically for you…
created by your words,
plays through my imagination.
All I have are your words,
innuendos and confessions alike.
Haunting words that tease my heart into hope.
Soft, easy and sensual innuendos…
I can’t erase from my mind,
no matter how tightly I close my eyes.
Confessions that drown my heart,
in tears of compassion,
leave me feeling empty and helpless.
Tears drench my body and soul;
suddenly realizing my subjugator is shedding my tears
I feel foolish...
wake and realize…
I was staring into a reflection of my reality.
