We must heal

Little Lost Heart

I knew I couldn’t get in
but I tried anyway.

It opened this time,
the gate swung out.

Lo and behold, my
beating heart

held by an angel who said,
“the scab will go away.”

“And become another scar
with the others.”

“Here’s your heart.
You need it to live.”

Indeed the heart is very vulnerable but we need it to go on. Nicely expressed, Kathryn. Love and peace to you,

Sometimes we lost our heart, and no matter how or where we look for it...it's gone.
