i drink a beer. i bait my hook. i cast my line. i'm hoping to catch a marvelous fish! missed. i drink a beer. i bait my hook. i cast my line. been thinking of making a seafood dish. missed. i drink a beer. i bait my hook. i cast my line. there is a catfish with my name on it! missed. i drink a beer. i bait my hook. i cast my line. b'cause that critter is bigger than spit. missed! i drink a beer. i bait my hook. i cast my line. all i've gotta do is to catch 'im first. MISSED! i drink a beer. i hate my book. i last my kine. snag my shirt ow dammit dammmit that hurts!! definately a miss--missed the fish. i drink a beer. i drink a beer. i sit and think. only thing that i've caught t'day is me... ain't even gonna try. what will i say to all the guys?? i think and think-- caught me a big 'un--hunnert niney three!

| Is the story the whopper or is it the hunnert & ninety three you hooked...LOL, this was really great, hon. When I used to drink and fish, I did only one thing, drink, I did it well, and no need to fish after that, had the pole stuck in the ground, the line out with no bait or hook, who knew, only me...Peace thru Relaxation, Ed & Rufuz |

| well Lady Buckeye...LOL...I see we have something else in common besides being from the same state. Back when I use to fish, my favorite way of doing so was to bait the hook, toss in the line, set the drag, place the pole on a forked stick and kick back in the shade or by the fire and pop open a cold one...or two. Never got into all that lure stuff much...too much like exercise...hehehehehehe....great write here...brought back memories. |
