Now where in the world did this one come from??? A bit of sillieness--enjoy!

A poet I are.
I write of stars,
I write of cars,
close or f a r,
A poet I are.

A poet I ain't.
I'm not a saint.
I ain't, I ain't!
I feel faint,
A poet I ain't.

A poet I are.
I write in bars,
And smoke cigars,
Words bizarre,
A poet I are.

A poet I'm not.
Muse dead, was shot,
It was a plot,
Lie, I cannot,
A poet I'm not.

A poet I am!
And thank you, Ma'am,
Poetry slam!
Not a sham,
A poet I am.
