Fellow wordsmiths, your words are food for my soul. Thank you for sharing them with me. :-) I dine, gratefully.

"A LIFE CHANGING ENCOUNTER"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I met a Poet today.
His words darted about my head
In dazzling displays of talent
I truly coveted.
I met a Poet today.
Her words--her magnificent words!--
Brought joy to my dessicated soul
And restored it back to life.
I met a Poet today.
His words were passionate rhythms
That caressed my heart and made me blush--
Such mischievious thoughts!
I met a Poet today.
I asked him if she'd bless my pen
So I could write something beautiful...
She said, 'You don't need me.'
I met a Poet today.
I saw her looking back at me
When I glanced into the mirror's glass--
That Poetress was me!
Yes, Ma'am! It's a fine day, indeed, when you recognize yourself and live with comfort in your own skin. When your mind guides your pen, Karla, the word Poet MUST have a capital "P"... write on... and on... and on...a Poet with Panache! (smile) katy xox.
