"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be....
Watch, therefore, for ye know not what hour your LORD doth come." - MATTHEW 24:36-39; 42, The Holy Bible, KJV.

... we rush about; our daily lives scheduled
to schedules we can't keep; we hit the floor
running; hurry-hurry; scurry-scurry;
rushing here and there; Starbucks; job; a quick
lunch; back to the grind; traffic halts faster
than the speed of light; arrive home; homework;
kids off to soccer practice; band; dance; a
bite of dinner; kids off to bed; no rest
for the weary; e-mails; pay bills; complete
the work you brought home; phone calls; no time for
God; no time; no time; time is shorter than
you realize; as it was in the days
of Noah, so shall it be in these last
days:  behold, He is coming soon, very
soon:  could you not spare Him just five minutes?

With a little piece of mind comes a little spiritual peace and with it the open eyes that see the real thing behind all the, by hurry, blurred images of our everyday.
Great reminder.

God is always here and when we accept that then there is no worries and we need not fear of anything. Just still..

Your write reminds me of a little small country church that used to be here in our county...when I was a little girl I recall my mom driving by it...there was a big sign painted on the side of the church that read...JESUS IS COMING SOON...hadn't thought about that little church in a while! I don't know when He's coming, but I want to be ready! Very inspiring write dear Karla, and a thought provoking write as well, enjoyed this very much!
Blessings,
Joyce Bowling

Karla,

People definitely need to make more time for God; they are too busy to even care or give Him a second thought. Sad. Very well done warning; brava! Lord help those who will find out too late--

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin sis, Karen Lynn. :(

Karla you hit a spot with me on this one I ache with the lost at hand lost souls those that are prodigals known the Lord and have walked back to the world. Those yet to learn of him and those who are on the border of his life eternal and a life of fire.... he is a Gentleman to the utmost he will never rush or demand we love him he waits and waits...
We get so caught up in life. I make it a habit to spend time several times a day with him for he longs to visit with each of us on a personal level that is what is so awesome about the LORD he is big enough for all yet he is singular unique and there for each of us...
If we could only be silent long enough to hear his voice upon the winds, he would say I have missed you so much..

{{{TEARS}}}} Thank you for this witness................SO TRUE

Blessing and LOVE

People rushing round like there's no tomorrow.
Do you ever get the impression that we are born to shop, born to be economic units, then dispensed with once we reach pension age? In other words, the world's a big shopping centre wherein we are squeezed dry than spat out.

In the midst of this frantic scenario, the spiritual dimension is neglected and abandoned to the locusts.
