Ms. Sparkly Leg Warmers,

... the only way to be good is to
silence the pen forever.  These words
I scribe may be the solitary
love some know.  That's why I write:  not made

of wood or stone.  What's deep inside must
be expressed, so others understand
what it means.  Sometimes, it's fun; sometimes,
it hurts, but better to have been loved

than never to have loved at all.  Dear
Ms. Sparkly Leg Warmers, certainly
you know that.  Please tell Santa I'll try,
can't promise:  my words must be written!

Thank you in advance, and Merry Christmas!,

*StormSpinner*

(My twin sister has always been good.)

Karla with a silent pen. I don't call that so good.
What I call good is the way Karla writes and what she
writes about. That, old Santa's Elf, is what I call good.

I like this piece, I would love to read something from you that keeps the mystery and complexity in a longer story. I think that it would be interesting to think of a little plot and compile it with your usual voice. 1ust a thought.
Bittersweet Christmas, thoughts, angelic wishes...

Christmas - only days away; plastic snowmen and glowing reindeer adorn the lawns of neighborhoods all across America. All is calm, all is bright, and yet there is something tragic..
