Thank you, Cryssa, for issuing the challenge to come up with a poem using the word 'conundrum.' =]

Image (c) 2008, Karla Dorman

A mad.swirl of thoughts/ideas/words
attempting something extraordinary:
ladiiiiies and gentlemen!  please direct

your attention to the center ring as
the Poet TRIES TO TAME writer's block
armed only with !! a pen !!  Watch!  as

she faces the impossible conundrum
of how to domesticate the Beast
before it kills her.  Observe!  as she

opens its mouth, avoiding s.lashing
teeth and c.laws of critics!  See!  how
she trains it to lay down at her feet

and purr like a kitten!  Mark!  how she
makes a MOCKERY of something that
would have lesser Poets quivering in

fear!
She is a Master, who can write
about anything and make it look easy:
issued a challenge, she meets it head on.

People of my age will think of conundrum just as a main-teaser and an attempt for wise ass children trying to trick us old geezers with a so called "Cryssa's Challenge" that is worth a little spanking bending over one's knees! LOL! LOL!! LOL!!!

One of my all time favorite words, conundrum, Karla / This was in your face / My kind of stuff / Well, I'm writing more sedately these days, but . . . / If you had writer's block, it should be put to rest down, this was very good.

Delightfully interesting write, Karla; comparing your words to a three ring circus! Very clever, and I love that word: Conundrum! I especially enjoyed the part:

See! how she
trains it to lay down at her feet
and purr like a kitten!

AdoRAble line; very original!

Very well penned, and that image is a great example of the word "Conundrum"! BRAVA! Challenge well met and exceeded!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :D
