Writer's block ... (Image © 2011, Karla Dorman)
|
Have you seen them, the words
that have abandoned ship? Have
looked high and low, over and
under, outside and in, and they
still won't show their faces. This
game of hide and seek is getting
old. Been gone so long I forget
what they look like --- substantial
reward offered for their return.

OH right Belle, like they are right in front of me. Karla I think the muse took them back to Mt. whereever. All I know is too, that I have a movie script to write and can't think of how to start it. OH MY MUSE, WHEREFORE ART THOU?
This is a good write, Karla, and ti gives the reader something to think about, and that is a good thing.
May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love and who love you, and be with you always and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie |

Sometimes, at least for me, Karla, the thought of the words come when something or someone or someplace strikes my heart or mind, then the words come. Force the words and they will never come. Or when they do, they are not worth writing.

Karla,
We've ALL been there. It will come back. Sometimes writing something about it makes it return, no reward necessary.

Based on your output, I would say that there are many many more to come. I think it is probably our desire to top each write with a better one that forces us to hold out until we come upon the right words to say. I have conveniently overcome that by just writing trash from time to time just to get the words flowing.

KARLA ... WELL SAID, KIDDO!
IF 'THEY' ARE MIA - MIGHT SEEK OUT A TRUANT OFFICER ...
WAYWARD JUVENILES MIGHT NEED A 'WHACK' OR TWO BEHIND THE WOODSHED!
ALSO ... A PLATE OF COOKIES N' A GLASS OF MILK MIGHT LURE 'THEM'?
MOST IMPORTANTLY, BE PATIENT ... 'THEY' WILL PROBABLY COME HOME SOON ...
WAGGING 'THEIR' TALES BEHIND 'THEM' !!!
P-A-L ... PEACE - ABUNDANCE - LOVE ... TK...
