i hope that when i die
i hope i'm not famous
but my words will live on
forever

i hope that when i die
i hope that it's not painful
my words were born of pain
begotten

i hope that when i die
i've not had a dull life
my words tell the story
remember

i hope that when i die
i pray i'm forgiven
my words are my witness
confession

i hope that when i die
i hope i'm not famous
but my words will live on
forever
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

i hope i leave my mark on the world. :)

Karla,
Your words are leaving a mark carved in the hearts of those here, just as Karen and the others here have. Great write.

no doubt you will, maybe like E.Dickerson, whose poetry was found in a locked cabinet in her attic after she had passed away... but then again it seems that you have already left your mark...
