i said i wasn't going to complain
*about texas heat*
i wish we would get some nice, cooling rain
*that would be SWEET*
the temp'rature is now one hundred four
*it's almost three*
we could tie our record, just a bit more
*four more degrees*
a front is close, but there's no real relief
*wind's from the north*
it's not helping--it's visit will be brief
***autumn, come forth***
i think i am living in the wrong state
*too late, i fear*
the heat makes me CRAZY...edgy...irate
***git me outta here***

Man, I can't stand that kind of heat!!!! And you love Texas????? Hmmmmmm I should talk, here in Lompoc, we've had a crappy summer, wind blows all the time and it's been cold and overcast mostly..... I can't stand this kind of weather either..... sigh... when will I ever be happy.. smiles... great write, sis.... stay strong... oh, I heard that if you take a hot shower, it helps...
