Dedicated to the Parents of Children who are victims of Kidnapping...A Child stolen in the night...Bound are her wrist and ankles by rope...Appear the Angel of Death...Light...Hope...

I cried in darkness

Bound by ropes

Tied tightly around my wrist and ankles

I was hungry, tired and cold

Left there alone by my Abductor

Who stole me away in the night?

Sleeping in my bed

I'm afraid of this darkness

The water is rising around my ankles

I pray shivering in fear

Someone will come and rescue me

I cry pleading my Daddy come

Praying

My Mother will hold me in her arms again

Appear in the darkness

A glow of light

There standing

A beautiful woman

With wings

She glances up

As if to listen to someone speaking

Help me

I cried
She spoke softly

Calm my little one

I am here to watch over you

No harm will come to you

I cried

Telling her he was coming back

Wipe those tears

Fear no more

I come for him

God sent me to watch over you

Till help comes

I am the Angel of Death

The man who took you is a lost soul

His mind is sick

He is dyeing inside

Inside the cave I could hear

Voices screaming out my name

Dogs barking

See the Angel spoke

They are near

I heard the sound of a gun fire

Echoing inside the caves walls
Where I was bound

The Angel spoke

I must leave now my little one

Fear no more

For outside

Be those to take you home

She was gone

I could hear footsteps

Racing through the water before me

Then there was light

The sheriff removes the ropes that bound me

A gentle man takes me into his arms

Come Darling

We're taking you home

Mommy and Daddy are waiting

In that moment I knew

All my prayers had been answered

Where hopes are found

For God was surely watching over me

Also

I must never in my life

Forget

The Angel of Death
For

She watches over me too

What a touching and emotional write my friend, you've penned this one with such a caring heart...That was always one of my worst fears when my children were small, I recall seeing parents on television pleading for their own childrens safe return, I can't imagine the suffering and the pain they must go through. But your write brings a glimmer of hope for those whom have children still out there...I do believe that we have angels who keep watch over us, especially children...they are special in the eyes of God! Hard to imagine just how full Heaven will be with all the little children who have suffered at the hands of evil adults....staggering indeed! You've expressed a sad topic well my friend, very touching!
Blessings,
Joyce B.
