I lie still... In silence...This Thorn Bird... chooses me... A muse...The inspiration of its creativity...
|
A faint echo of a tune
Comes to me in the darkness
I lie here still
In silence
This Thorn Bird
It chooses me tonight
A muse
The inspiration of its creativity
Lacking of sparks in my heart
It brings to my ears
This unchained melody
In delight
I listen to the piccolos’ melody
Unchain my heart
I whisper
Of thy Thorn Bird
It embraces me
Till my eyes fade into twilight
I beckon
It enchants my dreams
The beauty of its melody

Very nice blending of dreamscape with the harmony of bird song. Often our inspirations come from the most unlikely places but at others what could be more inspiring than a thorn bird.
