MY WORLD OF WONDER
By Anika Logan
© 2002 Anika Logan

The wagging of a dog's tail
The approving and excited look in his/her eyes
The purr of a happy feline

The wonder and beauty of a flourishing garden,
Where blossoming flowers abound

Sunrises
Sunsets
Rainbows

Trees, in all their majesty
Nature as a whole
The feel of grass under my bare feet
The feel of sand between my toes,
Waves rolling in
The beach at dusk

The warmth of the sun
On my face, my body

A cool breeze
On a hot summer day

Gentle raindrops

The beauty and fascination
Of the world around me
Will never stop enlivening
And inspiring awe in me.
