My song

It's dawning today behind a night
So long. It's a remembrance of goodbye's.
The piano is playing the most poignant songs
All for me. It's beautiful and sad
Right now it's all I have playing for me.
I can smile and dance slow to
Old melodic notes, still air starts
To sway, and I with it.
It suspends me in the atmosphere because
You are not here to hold me. I don't mind
I could do this forever, I smile-
I cry, that you won't be passing by.
All the love that is in me is for now
This piano-because it plays for me.
I'll take a walk to the woods and let
Trees sigh with me. (Will you sigh too?)
I am in love with this melody
And nothing else right now.
My remembrance has allways played
But I never turned it up, so I'll spend
My four days here, listening to a tune
Listening to myself
Listening to you. |

This is about so many things all merging into one, and just listening to a song, and being peaceful-beautifully sad is what I was trying to get to.

A beautiful song it is. I "sigh" in remembrance and listen to the joy & sorrow.
Joy is found in our sorrow and our memories. |
