This is about those people, who think they are so righteous in what they do, and care more about appearances than actually helping in the world. It is by no means aimed at all religious people, but I know religious people like this, so that is a part of the poem. 'If you judge people, you have no time to love them.'-Mother Theresa |

So, when you envisage them,
And they don't seem to be just like you,
Just like you expected them to-
You gunna act disgusted?
No, you aren't a rascist,
The disabled are your aquaintances, a source
For your sermon, but a gay man?
It's fetid. Inquitous.
Spit them out, because it's straightforward
With your friends to display a moral-
Caring for the elderly, praying for the sick,
But a homosexual, you just can't tolerate.
Colour, oh that's fine. But a fucking gay?
No way. Not in my house.
You don't think for yourself, just go with majoirty.
Are you blind? It isn't a misfortune, it is
Who they are, let them shout it from the rooftops.
I told you God was gay, and what did you say?
I lose respect for the rascist, and I just lost respect
For you. Get off that pedestal, take away the
Graces and airs. And maybe tonight you'll see
The ugliness I can, lurking in your vacant head.
Preach about acceptance and shut doors.
But were we not all God's children? Or have
You changed your mind. Eyes locked shut
On such a hypochritical human, allthough
I hesistate to use the latter word.

| These are thoughts all should ponder, Because NO ONE on earth is better than any one else. Thanks .Thelma |

Excellent. The hypocrites talk about the sanctity of life--but do they really value lives of those who are different from them?
Recall that AIDS was considered a gay disease. |

| hypocrisy abounds here, unfortunately, and "hate" seems to be in "fashion." It's an issue that should be addressed often, so I thank you for doing this! |
